Coogee owns and operates multi-purpose bulk liquid dangerous goods terminals throughout Australia. Our strategically located facilities have import and export capabilities, extensive pipeline networks and dedicated gantries for road tanker, rail wagon and isotainer filling capabilities.

Bulk Chemical Storage

Coogee owns and operates bulk liquid storage terminals in Kwinana, Port Hedland and Gladstone. We specialise in the receipt, storage and delivery of both dangerous and non-dangerous liquids.

We pride ourselves on our long term safety record and continually demonstrate our capability and commitment to our customers.

We offer bulk storage to third parties in tanks that range in size from 650m3 to 19,000m3, with capacity to store a wide range of flammable, combustible and corrosive products.

  • The Kwinana Terminal handles a range of products including Sulphuric Acid, Caustic Soda, Toluene, Ethanol, and other hydrocarbons and solvents.
  • Our Port Hedland Terminal receives, stores and delivers Sulphuric Acid and Caustic Soda to the Pilbara region and extended north west of WA.
  • The Gladstone Terminal primarily stores Sulphuric Acid and Sodium Hypochlorite and also handles smaller quantities of Hydrochloric Acid and Caustic Soda.

Coogee also has available land to construct additional storage to meet the ongoing needs of the bulk liquids market.

Shore-Side Bulk Fuel Terminals

Coogee operates shore-side tank terminal facilities across Australia. We provide terminal services to fuel customers including Ampol, BP, Chevron, Exxon Mobil and Viva.

Our operations in Western Australia handles the import and storage of fuel, received via wharf, for onward distribution to retail outlets, mine sites and farming communities.

Our services include a NATA certified fuel laboratory.

Dangerous Goods Container Storage

Coogee has established the Kwinana Dangerous Goods Storage Facility (KDGS), where individual classes of non-compatible dangerous goods can be stored safely using world’s best practice of segregation and separation according to all regulations controlling these goods.

Most type of cargo can be stored within the Kwinana facility, whether Dangerous Goods, or simply general cargo containers. The KDGS is an AQIS-approved site and licensed as a bonded store for Customs.

Coogee’s transport division also provides logistics for container and ISO-tainer transport including container lifting, loading, shipping, booking, steam and water heating of ISO-tainer as a one stop shop.

Pipeline Network

Coogee owns and operates an extensive number of product pipelines.

Our strategically located pipeline networks allow us to transfer bulk liquids seamlessly to and from local Port facilities, into and out of our terminals, to adjacent customer facilities, and to Coogee road and rail load-out gantries.

Our pipeline networks are a combination of dedicated and multi product pipelines which enables us to transport a wide range of products on a   24 x 7 x 365 basis to ensure our customers receive product when they need it. Coogee owns dedicated wharflines which allow us to load and discharge bulk liquid cargo’s safely and efficiently into our terminals.

  • Direct wharflines in Kwinana, Port Hedland and Gladstone.
  • Direct connections to the BP Kwinana Terminal and the Ampol Lytton Refinery.
  • Coogee owned pipelines that link directly to neighbouring customers in the Kwinana Industrial Precinct.
  • Coogee manage and operate the Kwinana Bulk Jetty industry manifold to facilitate product movement on and off this complex wharf.
