"Coogee Chemicals commenced operations in 1971 as a copper sulphate producer in Western Australia. In the ensuing years the Company has grown across a range of chemical and related areas and has expanded its operations around Australia and into Malaysia.

The Coogee business now includes:

• Chemical manufacture at Kwinana and Kemerton in Western Australia, at Laverton in Victoria, and at two locations in Malaysia
• Chemical reagent plants servicing large mines at Mount Isa and Century in Queensland
• Tank Terminals for import, export and storage of chemicals at Kwinana and Port Hedland in WA, and at Townsville and Gladstone in Queensland, plus Western Australia’s largest petroleum fuel import terminal at Kwinana
• Dangerous Goods transport fleet operations in WA and Queensland and a DG isotainer storage facility at Kwinana
• A Sodium Cyanide plant at Kwinana for the manufacture and sale of Sodium Cyanide in Australia and Overseas, operated as a Joint Venture with Wesfarmers/CSBP
