BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Mr W G Martin

Gordon Martin, B.E (Chem) B.Ec FAICD FAIM FIChemE - (Chairman)

Gordon Martin has been involved in both the Private and Public Listed corporate sectors.

He has spent most of his working life in the Chemical and Resources industries in Coogee Chemicals, a private company where he is majority shareholder and Executive Chairman.

His involvement in the Public sector has been as a Director of Burswood and as a Director of United Group.

In June 2006 Gordon was appointed Chancellor of Curtin University.

Gordon was the inaugural Western Australian State President and a past National Vice President of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD). In 2005 he was awarded the Western Australian AICD Gold Medal Award.

Mr P Thick

Phil Thick, B.Eng (Hons) GAICD - CEO and Director

Phil Thick was appointed as an independent non-executive director in 2007 and took over as Acting CEO in August 2008. He holds an honours degree in civil engineering from the University of Western Australia.

Phil worked as an engineer for Alcoa Australia Limited for 5 years before joining Shell Australia Limited. His 20 year career with Shell covered roles in most cities around Australia and a 3 year appointment in London. He was an Executive Director of Shell Australia Limited from 2003 to 2006 and was responsible for the Downstream Oil business across Australia and the Pacific Islands. He was also Chairman of Shell Fiji Limited and a director of the Australian Institute of Petroleum.

Phil is a non-executive director of Argosy Minerals Limited, GulfX Limited, Esperance Port Authority and Perth Home Care Services.

Mr T J Martin

Tim Martin, B.Arts MBA GAICD - (Director and Manager, Human Resources)

Tim Martin has been a board member since 2000 and joined the company as a full-time executive in February 2005.

Prior to joining Coogee Chemicals he was an owner/manager of a wholesale food manufacturing company and also has experience with commercial property development.

Tim is Executive Manager of Human Resources.

Colin Napier

Colin Napier, B.Com CA MBA - (Director and Chief Financial Officer)

Colin Napier is a Chartered Accountant who joined the Company in 1999 and is currently the Chief Financial Officer. As Chief Financial Officer, he is responsible for all accounting, tax, banking, treasury and insurance issues as well as providing input into commercial issues and directing the corporate planning process. Prior to working at Coogee Chemicals, he had worked with a number of major accounting firms providing advisory services to a range of businesses including publicly listed entities.

Colin completed an MBA at the Australian Graduate School of Management in 2001. In addition to being CFO, he is also currently Company Secretary of Coogee Chemicals.

Mr P J Hood

Peter Hood, B.Eng (Chem) FIChemE FAICD MAUSIMM - (Director)

Peter Hood joined the company as General Manager in 1985. He was appointed a Director in 1986 and Managing Director from January 1998 to June 2005. In July 2005 he became Chief Executive Officer of Coogee Resources Ltd. He has over 35 years experience in the development of projects in the resources and chemicals industries and is also a graduate of the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program. He is a Director of the Australian Petroleum Production and Exploration Association Limited (APPEA), Chairman of the APPEA Health Safety and Operations Committee, a Vice President of the Western Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and former President of the Kwinana Industries Council.

Dr T Taylor

Dr Trevor Taylor, PhD C.Eng - (Director And Business Manager - Mining, Services and Fertilisers)

Trevor Taylor joined Coogee Chemicals in 1994 as the site manager for the Beta-Carotene Production facility. He has since managed all of the Kwinana Manufacturing plants and the Tank Terminal Businesses in Port Hedland and Kwinana. He is currently responsible for Business Relations, providing the direct customer contact for all commercial and technical interactions. Trevor has a PhD in Chemical Engineering and a strong background in chemistry. He has had previous experience in Research and Development and Contract Management within the chemical process industry.

Mr P W Knowles

Peter Knowles, B.Ec MAICD - (Non-Executive Director)

Peter Knowles was appointed as an independent non-executive Director in 2004.

Peter has over 30 years experience as an executive in the resources, agribusiness and chemicals industries. He has held senior management positions within Rio Tinto and Wesfarmers Limited, culminating in his appointment as Managing Director of Wesfarmers CSBP Limited in 1994. He retired from that organisation in 2001. He now provides consulting services, predominantly to Rio Tinto. Peter is also a non-executive director of Alinta Infrastructure Holdings and Activ Foundation.
