Commitment to the Environment

Coogee designs and operates its facilities to have minimal impact on the environment. The company values its role in preserving the surrounding environment and being a proactive proponent of sustainability and responsible environmental performance at all times.

With these simple and basic objectives in mind, the company has continued to manage its Kwinana operations under a strict “zero” emissions philosophy and has developed a waste minimisation plan to continue to reduce its overall average waste refuse and landfill disposal every year.

Coogee Chemicals continues to take great pride in maintaining the immediate environment. As previous winners of the Kwinana Beautiful Gardens Competition in the “Commercial and Industrial” division, we strongly support ongoing improvements by the Kwinana Town Council of the industrial landscape. Coogee Chemicals has also been acknowledged by the Department of State Development as leading a best practice example of industrial landscaping, and it’s great to see that the gardens we enjoy have been recognised by others too!
